I received my PhD in Linguistics from the University of Kansas and
have been teaching linguistics at Utah State University since 1993.
I have long seen the need for several types of relatively inexpensive
resources for teachers of linguistics at the university level. When the
textbook that I have relied on for years hit $70, I decided that the only
solution was to develop my own materials.
Some of these materials come from my experience in offering
introductory linguistics courses on-line through the USU On-Line
Linguistics Program. Other materials have been developed from
scratch.
